		<description>Programme Overview


The&#38;nbsp;Print Contemporary Practice programme at Limerick School of Art and Design employs an expanded definition of printmaking. It offers a wide range of printmaking-related learning experiences and activities that help students develop comprehensive knowledge and skills in  Printmaking and Contemporary Art.The student-centred curriculum emphasises the importance of active engagement, experiential learning, and reflective practices at all stages. Students are encouraged to build a strong foundation in various print processes while experimenting with traditional methodologies and exploring new and emerging technologies relevant to contemporary printmaking as they develop their individual studio practices.Regular tutorials, group critiques, lectures, and seminars are integral learning strategies that support students in cultivating a deep understanding of printmaking and contemporary art.Successful programme completion requires the development of a body of work that includes advanced research, works in progress, completed artworks, and evidence of thoughtful display and presentation methods. At the end of the program, learners will exhibit selected artworks or installations in the Print Contemporary Practice exhibition, which is a key part of the

 LSAD BA Honours graduate show.
